PLC-controlled face-piped manifolds with butterfly valves for high-flow sand, carbon, softening and iron-manganese systems.
When flow rates exceed what a single top-mounted control valve can handle, filters are fitted with an external valve manifold. Five automatic valves, actuated pneumatically or electrically, are sequenced by a PLC to run service, backwash and rinse — with lower pressure loss, higher reliability and SCADA connectivity.
